HOT MELT ADHESIVE MODEL 775
This Black Bros. hot melt adhesive spreader is built to handle the increasing market demands for both reactive hot melt adhesive and polyurethane hot melt adhesive(RHM/PUR) applications. The 775 hot melt adhesive spreader is equipped with the necessary features to accommodate RHM/PUR materials: rugged steel frame, drive components on one end, heat connections on the opposite end, easy access to the roll ends for maintenance,large diameter rolls with heavy duty wall thickness, easy roll change safety glass shielding for visibility, and vent or port for vapor control/exhaust. The oil heating unit mounts on the same base as the machine and is sized to meet your needs. Standard units are available from 32'' (812 mm) through 74'' (1880 mm) capacity. Units of 74'' (1880 mm) to 128” (3250mm) can be designed and manufactured to customer specifications based on the C1175 model.* Bulk melt or drum unloader units are also available. We can also make arrangements to connect the hot melt adhesive supply with our liquid level to provide an uninterrupted supply of hot melt adhesive.
DIFFERENTIAL DIRECT ROLL COATER
The Black Bros. Differential Direct Roll Coater (DDRC) is a highly versatile, advanced design roll coater featuring independent variable speed drives for the coating roll, direct or reverse rotating doctor roll, and conveyor belt. The DDRC is ideal for applying UV curable coatings, and for applications of solvent and water borne coatings including stains, tints, colors and protective coats onto wood, metal, plastics, aluminum,
and more. This Roll Coater is capable of producing exceptionally smooth finishes with light to heavy viscosity materials.
22D-1175 ADHESIVE SPREADER AND ROLL COATER
The 22D-1175 Adhesive Spreader and Roll Coater is the largest of the standard 22-D machines produced by Black Bros. Co. Designed in sizes up to 110" (2794 mm) wide and weighing up to 7,800 lb (3538 kg), the 22D-1175 Adhesive Spreader and Roll Coater is capable of handling the largest substrates currently in production. Its 11.75-inch (299 mm) diameter coating
rolls offer rigidity found in no other roll-coating machine. This model comes with an extensive list of standard features, including variable speed drive, as well as options to match the 1175 to your production environment.
ADHESIVE COATER AND GLUE SPREADER MODEL 22D-875
The Black Bros. 22D-875 glue spreader is one of the most admired models in our line of quality equipment. Our 22-D 875 glue spreaders can be found in plants all over the world, still operating reliably over 40 or 50 years on the job. Standard sizes start at 44" (1118 mm) and run to 74" (1880 mm) wide. Built to provide service 24/7, with a heavy duty welded steel frame. Black Bros. 22-D 875 glue spreaders can coat the heaviest substrates in the most rugged environments or use its precision to achieve extreme accuracy of coating weights. The Black Bros. 22-D 875 glue spreader uses an 8.75-inch (222 mm) coating roll. It is available with a broad range of operator friendly features and options to match the demands of any operation.
775 ADHESIVE SPREADER AND ROLL COATER
The Black Bros. 775 Adhesive Spreader is built for durability and excellence and provides a compact, reliable and economical approach to adhesive spreading or roll coating for standard size materials. The efficient design-with fewer components than other models-makes the 775 easy to maintain and increases uptime. The Model 775 provides outstanding consistency, quality and a long life. Available in three standard
sizes: 44" (1118mm), 56" (1422mm), 68" (1727 mm) with numerous standard features and options. Black Bros. 775 Adhesive Spreader and Roll Coater is a popular choice for companies who need an efficient method of applying adhesive or coating, but can not justify the larger, higher production adhesive spreader or roll coater.
22D-650 ADHESIVE SPREADER AND ROLL COATER
The Black Bros. 22D-650 Adhesive Spreader and Roll Coater is a strong machine built for when your process requires a narrow coating width. The 6.5-inch (165 mm) rolls offer a deeper reservoir with standard machine width ranges from 26" to 38" (660 mm to 965 mm). The 650 is part of the 22D family of machines, therefore a large number of options are available along with a substantial standard equipment list. Consider
a 22D-650 Spreader or Coater when you want to process small to medium sized components and need special machine features not available on the 775 Spreader and Coater.
