Roll Coaters can process any substrate that can be presented to the coating roll in a single plane. Therefore, regardless of the orientation of the substrate i.e.: vertical or horizontal, we can configure a coater to apply the adhesive coating.
Our machines will apply an accurate and consistent adhesive coating of most fluid products to a wide range of substrates. Painting of a panel or plank is easily envisioned, but imagine a fire retardant or insecticide applied to a fabric or a non-glare coating on glass even the tiles on the bottom of the space shuttle are coated with a BBCO roll coater.
